How to install the engine in ten minutes

Nex1on installs from an ordinary archive: unpack it on your hosting, open the site address in a browser, and the installer asks for the database details and creates the first administrator. No SSH and no Composer needed.

It is best to point the site root at the public folder: then the engine code sits one level above and cannot be reached from the browser. If the root cannot be changed, the bundled .htaccess file closes off everything else.
